A visit to the Alpine farms will certainly give you the opportunity. The Entremont farm welcomes the public every day from 5pm to 7pm (except Sundays). In addition to discovering the working environment of a farm producer, visitors can take home goat’s milk cheeses and yoghurts. Please contact us beforehand to make sure we will be there or available.

Another family farm: Gaec le Criou, which makes and sells fresh cheese from a local herd of cows. Les Croës Canailles farm, where Hérens cows are raised, offers local charcuterie for sale in addition to cheese. Finally, the farmers of the Cimes farm offer you the possibility to visit them by reservation.

Guided tours during the All Saints’ holidays

Once the visit to the farm is over, back in the village, you can take a seat on the Septitrain (after booking) to admire the ancestral jewels that line the village: the covered market, the church and other monuments marked by the rich contribution of the Savoyard stonecutters, the Frahans.

Other notable places to discover through guided tours during the All Saints’ Day holidays are the Alpine Botanical Garden and the Hameau de Chantemerle. Every Tuesday morning, by reservation at the Tourist Office.

Finally,, l’écomusée  du Clos Parchet, a real journey through

the human history of Savoie, is open until 31 October every Thursday afternoon. Reservation at the Tourist Office.

For lovers of good bread and pastries, the Tiffanie bakery organises visits of its bakery every Tuesday at 8 am. Reservation at the Tourist Office.

Horseback riding in the Alps, ice skating, two wheelers…

Sportsmen and women are not left out, as canyoning is available until 4 November with Moutain Spirit. Until the same date, rent bikes with Sports Expérience or Mountain Spirit to ride through the alpine mountain landscapes and enjoy the view. Another way to explore the Savoyard hiking trails is by horseback. Equita Passion offers pony and horse riding, horse riding lessons and even weekly courses. For those who love to slide, the Samoëns skating rink opened its doors on 19 October: a good way to try out some pirouettes on the ice!
