For the curious of the agricultural past, go to the ecomuseum of Clos Parchet. Pierre and Simone Dechavassine wished to testify of their life and that of their ancestors. This farmhouse, furnished in the spirit of the 19th century evokes the life of this era with the reconstitution of a traditional kitchen (cuzna), a living room (peel), stables or hay barn and buildings annexes of the time (bread oven, loft, delivery …). This ecomuseum traces the history of agropastoralism, traditional cultures and the work of wood and stone in Samoëns. Located at 1,000 meters altitude in the hamlet of Les Adrets, this historic farm is visited from April to November with the crisp anecdotes of the mistress of places: Simone Dechavassine.
