From the village of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, follow the Giffre to the hamlet of Les Curtets. The route climbs to Bellecombe and then descends through the forest to the village. After a few meters on the departmental road, you continue towards the hamlet of Le Mont, one of the most beautiful in the Giffre valley, and then on to the foot of Le Criou, the valley's emblematic peak. You then descend to the valley plain before reaching the Tines sector, where you can admire the vertiginous gorges carved out by the waters over the years. Continue on to the village, then head up towards the hamlet of Salvagny, where you can see the Rouget waterfall, also known as the Queen of the Alps.
