From March 30th to April 1st: 4rd Criou Festival – Blues et Rock
Find the blues & rock festival in Samoëns with French and International Blues and Rock references.
On the program :
Thursday March 30th: opening concert with MR MAXX at the apéro Space
Friday March 31: Mira Cétii& Ange
Saturday April 1: Nono & son, Rozedale and Red beans & pepper sauce.

Novelty for this 4rd edition
The Bois aux dames music fair is proposed on Friday from 2 pm to 8 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm.
Numerous exhibitors, luthiers, instruments to try for free, free off concerts, catering on site.
Come and wait for the evening concerts by discovering all the new musical instruments.

The Vélo Vert Festival from June 2nd to 4th
A reference in terms of outdoor shows and recognized as the largest mountain bike testing center in the world, the Vélo Vert Festival will also offer a rich and specific sports program for all types of riders (pros, amateurs and families).
From June 29th to July 2nd : 14th edition of the Samoëns American Festival (SAF)
The village of Samoëns, which is used to hosting the festival at the beginning of July, invites you to come and dance and immerse yourself in American culture for a weekend, with dance workshops, concerts and wild dances.

From 15 to 31 July : Samoëns and Giffre Mountains Lyric Festival
In Samoëns, the summer lyrical festival is a summer institution. All in simplicity, all in lightness, with a stage of artists and technicians of great quality carried by a communicative energy and by the good air of the mountains of Giffre. An opportunity to recharge one’s batteries, to discover and share, but also to smile because this summer, La Belle Helene by Jacques Offenbach will be created. Beautiful moments in perspective.
Sunday 23th July : Adopt a pass !
The Col de Joux Plane is part of the history of the Tour de France with 12 climbs since 1978. On the occasion of the Adopt a Col event, Joux Plane will be closed to traffic, by departmental decree, and cyclists will be able to enjoy one of the most demanding climbs in Haute-Savoie: 13.3 km at an average of more than 7.5% and passages at more than 11% gradient. A refreshment will be offered at the top before coming down and enjoying an exceptional view of the Haut-Giffre.

Sunday, August 6: Guides’ Day
In Samoëns, mountain guides are an integral part of local life. Essential to discover the wealth of the Haut-Giffre mountains in complete safety, the guides are honored for one day. At the end of the morning, they will parade in the streets of the village with traditional music. In the afternoon, they will present all the alpine disciplines that can be practiced in Samoëns and in the surroundings: climbing, slackline, abseiling, climbing the cocagne mast, AEM activities – mountain guide (games, initiation to knots, etc…). Workshops and film projections on the mountain are also on the program.
Sunday August 13th : Vertical Kilometer of the Ultra Trail du Haut Giffre
The appointment is taken with the best KMV specialists in the world to challenge one of the steepest race in France !
Starting from the village, the runners will climb as fast as possible to the top of the Criou, for 1km980 of race and 1000m of positive difference in altitude!

September 9th : Mont Blanc Rally in Samoëns
The Mont-Blanc Morzine Rally is one of the annual stages of the French Automobile Championship. And this year, it is stopping in Samoëns for its 75th edition!
Roaring engines, tires squealing on the asphalt, hairpin turns or capricious straights… Time addicts will be delighted to see cars calibrated in the smallest details to snatch a few hundredths from their opponents, and the more nostalgic will also be able to admire old legends defying the wheels of time.
