Holiday parties, festivals or sporting events: the Savoyard village-station is the scene of a myriad of activities. Here is an overview of events not to be missed.

On December 14th, Samoëns took up Christmas time and put on its fairy clothes. In the heart of the village, close to the Halle of the Grenette and along the main streets, associations and traders, set up their chalet. Throughout the holiday season, children can run after Santa’s sleigh and enjoy many activities dedicated to them. The parents will not be left out, since they will taste donuts, wine and hot chocolate, walking from cottage to chalet. Decorations around the wool will also be set up in the village with the association «Tricote-moi Noël».

Tastings on the slopes

Another opportunity to taste exceptional products: the Wine Week. For the tenth edition which will take place from 16 to 20 January 2020, gastronomy and well-being with the welcome of winemakers from all over France and even beyond, as well as chefs will be in the spotlight. The week will be punctuated by winemakers’ cafés, gastronomic evenings, gourmet workshops or tastings on the slopes! For these, you will enjoy unusual places, selected by the winemakers.
