Here’s a really fun hybrid! A cross between a raft and a canoe, this two-person inflatable boat is maneuverable but unstable, so you’ll need to work in perfect harmony with your partner to avoid being thrown out and ending up in the water.

The boat is inflatable and wider, which makes it more stable and helps absorb impacts against rocks. Plus, it self-bails. A guide accompanies you in another boat.

This activity allows you to analyze the river and understand the movements of the water and currents. You’ll also learn how to steer your boat. Our take: it’s the ideal boat to try after rafting.
