For three days, the Samoëns Paragliding Test’ival invites you to test the latest wings and gear, meet the brands, and experience paragliding in a friendly and festive atmosphere, surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Whether you’re a passionate pilot, a curious beginner, or a family—come share unique moments filled with flights, meet-and-greets, and activities.

The Brand Expo: ​Test Flights & Meet-and-Greets with Brands

Discover and test the latest in paragliding right on the ground.

Brands will be on hand to:

- let you try out their wings and gear,

- answer your questions,

- share their expertise.

All in a relaxed and enthusiastic atmosphere.


The Market: Sale of local and artisanal products


​Packing Area

A dedicated space will be available to practice packing, try out gear, and interact with brands under ideal conditions.


Launch Site: Les Saix

The main launch site is located at Les Saix, a remarkable spot offering an exceptional view of the Giffre Valley.

- Accessible in 20 minutes from the Test’ival venue via a free shuttle followed by the Vercland gondola
Lift ticket price: €10 for unlimited rides all day (Pass available at the Test’ival village reception desk)

- Ideal location to fully enjoy testing equipment

- Spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains


​Landing: Samoëns

Designed for a stress-free flying experience, the Samoëns landing site offers:

- a large, easy-to-land area,

- perfect visibility from the air,

- direct access to the Test’ival exhibition hall.


Movie Screenings

Screening of two films/documentaries followed by a Q&A session with athletes


Tandem Paragliding Flights

Take advantage of the event to go on a tandem paragliding flight.
Reservations can be made on-site or by phone the day before at the Tourist Office.

On-site food and beverage options will be available throughout the event so you can fully enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Registration

What you’ll need to register:
1 form of ID
An FFVL license or proof of aviation liability insurance.
A €1,500 deposit via credit card.
Registration is 100% online (via the dedicated form) and free.

Once your registration is complete, a ticket with a QR code will be generated. Go directly to the booths and present your ticket.
Choose your equipment, test it out, then return it and start over!

Complément de localisation

From the Samoëns tourist office, walk down to the parking lot below the skating rink to take the impasse des drugères. At the end of this, take the footpath to the right of the MMV Residence. At the end of the path, take the crosswalk. The path is suitable for PRMs.

Access by shuttle bus in summer and winter, more information from the Samoëns tourist office, accessible for wheelchair users.
