Nestled in the heart of the Haute-Savoie mountains, the Chalet d'Alpage Mont Plaisir welcomes you to an enchanting setting of serenity and natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 1400m, this eco-friendly accommodation for up to 10 people offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, verdant forests and flower-filled meadows.
An authentic, comfortable chalet
With a total surface area of 120m² spread over three levels, the chalet sleeps 10 people in 3 bedrooms with double beds, including one communicating room, and a dormitory upstairs. It also has 2 bathrooms for optimum comfort.
Access that marks the start of the journey
To reach Chalet Mont Plaisir, leave your car in the parking lot below, then continue on foot to the chalet. This ascent is much more than just a 30-minute walk: it allows you to gradually enter a different rhythm, far removed from over-consumption and daily hustle and bustle. What some might see as an effort is in fact a natural transition to a stay cut off from the world, to immerse oneself fully in a universe of calm and simplicity.
! But don't worry about your belongings! Owners Marine and Simon will take care of packing your suitcases and other luggage in their car or on their quad bike, so that every guest can start his or her stay light-headed and hands-free. Please note: unless you have a 4x4, the chalet is not accessible by car.

Surrounded by unspoilt nature, the chalet is a privileged vantage point from which to admire the splendor of the Alps in every season. In winter, the mountains are decked out in their immaculate white mantle, offering breathtaking views, while in summer, the alpine meadows are transformed into a colorful carpet of wild flowers. The chalet also overlooks the valley below, where the colors of the sunset are beautifully reflected on the snow-covered peaks.
A warm, comfortable interior
From the moment you step through the chalet door, you're greeted by a warm atmosphere where wood reigns supreme. The Chalet d'Alpage Mont Plaisir is a perfect example of traditional Alpine architecture, where stone and wood harmonize to create a space that is both authentic and modern.
The large living area includes the kitchen, dining room and living room with wood-burning stove. The fully-equipped kitchen is a marriage of modernity and rusticity, ideal for preparing tasty meals to share around the large solid wood table. The tastefully decorated bedrooms offer a cosy cocoon where natural materials create a soothing ambience.
Activities for all tastes
Around the chalet, the possibilities for sporting and recreational activities are endless in summer and winter, not to mention autumn and spring. Come and disconnect from the world in our corner of paradise on the Col de la Golèse road, not far from the Bostan refuge, and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the mountains and the surrounding wildlife.

Chalet Mont Plaisir is an ideal base for nature activities at any time of year. In winter, mountain lovers can set off on cross-country skis or snowshoes to explore the surrounding area, including the secluded, snow-covered mountain trails that wind through the forests. In summer, the same trails are transformed into hiking and biking trails, with breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding massifs. The chalet is located on the GR5, offering direct access to emblematic trails such as the path leading to the Bostan refuge, where a stop can allow you to discover the high mountains in their most authentic guise.
