All our products are made on our family farm, from full-cream unpasteurised cow's milk. The milk, which is processed immediately after milking, comes only from our herd fed with pasture and hay.

Mountain farming and short circuits
GAEC Le Criou is a family-run mountain farm that raises Abondance cows and directly transforms part of its milk production into farmhouse cheeses. Direct sales from the farm promote short circuits, enhance the value of local produce and help maintain agricultural activity in the area.
Preserving local landscapes and farming practices
The herds are fed mainly from pasture and forage produced on the farm. In summer, the animals graze on the valley's hillsides and mountain pastures, helping to maintain open spaces and preserve emblematic mountain landscapes.
Passing on know-how and raising public awareness
The farm welcomes visitors to discover how cows are milked and how farm products are made. These exchanges provide a better understanding of the realities of mountain agriculture, local know-how and the importance of pastoralism in preserving the land.
