Already, the artist's words seduce us and give us a foretaste of his drawings:
...How beautiful the mountains are!
The fractured, tormented, mineral nature of peaks and summits
but also the green, peaceful and soothing nature of alpine meadows and forests.
I love its exceptional landscapes.
Those of the high mountains, for the elite, and those more accessible
in the Haut Giffre massif.
Both require some effort...but what a reward!
I've brought back a few drawings and a lot of memories from these escapades, which I've been doing for over sixty years,
a few drawings and a lot of memories.
Made with pencil, pen or black lead,
I offer them to you to share these little moments of pure happiness...
And invite you to marvel, in situ, at these grandiose panoramas.
The exhibition is open to the public during library opening hours.
