You will discover a way of Cross built in 1846 (renovated in 1993) and a quiet atmosphere in the undergrowth, offering beautiful viewpoints from the heights of Châtillon.

The most convenient option is to park aht Châtillon mountain pass and then head to the bakery behind the chapel. Go up-hill on the road (towards Saint Sigismond) before following the signs on the left. Then, go up-hill on the small road at the right angle and follow the small path in the forest, that instantly leads you to a quiet and boculic atmosphere.
Go up-hill on the way of Cross until the hamlet "Balmotte", the view on the Arve Valley gets wider.
Go downhill on the itinerary to come back. At the end of the path, you will enjoy the view on Châitillon's church and the castle ruins at its right (you can access the ruins by the street "rue de l'Ancienne Poste", towards the church.).
