La Fête des Guides de Samoëns

Guides are essential if you want to discover the riches of the mountains in complete safety, and they will be in the spotlight for a day packed with events and festivities.

Join us for a unique day combining tradition, nature and thrills, between Samoëns and the spectacular Gorges des Tines.

🕙 Morning in Samoëns:

10am: Open-air mass

11am: Blessing of the ice axe, demonstrations of mountain activities and presentation of medals

12pm: Convivial moment over a glass of wine or syrup

🌄 Afternoon in the Gorges des Tines:
From 2pm to 5pm, experience or relive some of the highlights of recent editions, such as climbing in the Gorges des Tines, with the added bonus of an ice-axe climb!

🚲 Rewards for sustainable travel!
Come by bus, bike or carpool and leave with a free drink!

👉 An event co-organized by the Bureau des Guides de Samoëns and Sixt, in collaboration with the Office de Tourisme de Samoëns and the HGT.

Take advantage of the refreshment area set up by the Bureau des Guides all day on Sunday, in the Place du Gros Tilleul.

From the Samoëns tourist office, by bike, on foot or in a wheelchair, take Avenue Cognac Jaÿ, turn right at the end of the street, and 150m further on you'll arrive at Place du gros Tilleul.

Free parking nearby at Place des dents blanches and Place des Avoudruz. Blue spaces and PMR reserved spaces just ahead.
