Some are free, others are not, and may require pre-booking. On the programme this winter: cal\u00e8ces ride, living cot with farm animals, climbing wall, wooden games, remote control car race, introduction to video making, photography course&#8230;[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]FESTIVITES<\/p>\n<p>Father Christmas is visiting the village for young and old who want to stay small. He meets every day in his chalet at the Pied de Ville.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The covered ice rink remains open and accessible to all &#8211; Prices: Children&#8217;s entrance: 8.20\u20ac (3.80\u20ac without skate rental) &#8211; Adult entrance: 8.90\u20ac (3.50\u20ac without skate rental). Skate rental on site. Attention, no locker for backpacks.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>What activities can I do instead of skiing?<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Free activities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tobogganing tracks: it&#8217;s all about sliding in Samo\u00ebns. 3 areas are fitted out and secured with nets for the pleasure of children and older children:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.Col de Joux Plane, accessible by <span style=\"color: #6c9ed8;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #6c9ed8;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.samoens.com\/en\/cross-country-skiing-shuttle-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shuttles<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>. Plateau des Saix at 1600m<\/p>\n<p>. Sixt Fer \u00e0 Cheval circus, accessible by <span style=\"color: #6c9ed8;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #6c9ed8;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.samoens.com\/en\/cross-country-skiing-shuttle-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shuttles<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Hiking and snowshoeing: accessible to all, 15 marked snowshoeing routes are marked out in the Giffre valley.<\/p>\n<p>Information from the tourist office or Accueil Nordique. Find the service providers.<\/p>\n<p>The Bois aux Dames leisure centre, accessible on foot from the village, is a beautiful area for families (flat paths, suitable for pushchairs, etc.) on the banks of the Giffre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cross-country skiing: this is the main activity in winter. Several marked trails (skating and alternative) offer beautiful landscapes and panoramas. An area at altitude at Joux Plane, at 1700m. An area at the bottom of the valley in the heart of the Sixt Fer \u00e0 Cheval cirque. Prices, maps to be collected from the sites or from the Accueil Nordique in the offices of the Samo\u00ebns tourist office. These two sites are served by <span style=\"color: #6c9ed8;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #6c9ed8;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.samoens.com\/en\/cross-country-skiing-shuttle-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shuttles<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Samo\u00ebns has many ski touring routes outside the ski areas. Here too, you venture out into the wilderness on your own responsibility. Don&#8217;t hesitate to contact the guide offices or ski schools to be accompanied by a qualified guide.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Supervised activities<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Activities supervised by the ESF :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>. Snowshoe outings: possible individually or in groups of up to 5 people<\/p>\n<p>. Cross-country skiing and ski touring: activities available for individuals. Remember to bring your own equipment, the ESF does not provide it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>. Club Piou Piou: private ski lessons of 1h30 for the little ones in a secure and equipped area with a sheltered carpet.
