The history of the botanical garden:<\/span><\/p>\n

Marie-Louise Ja\u00ff, born in Samo\u00ebns in 1838, kept her flock of goats until she was 15 years old on the hill on which today the Ja\u00ffsinia is built.<\/span>\u00a0Then she decided to go to Paris to find work and met her husband Ernest Cognacq there.<\/span>\u00a0Working tirelessly and thrifty, they founded together the Samaritaine, a Parisian department store whose success will be immediate.<\/span><\/p>\n
