On sunny days, when the snow has melted, Samo\u00ebns becomes a bike land. Here, the Joux-Plane pass, at an altitude of 1,700 meters, is the reference point (or even the hiding place) for experienced cyclists who wish to add a legendary pass to their list. Crossed many times by the runners of the Tour de France, his ascent from Samo\u00ebns allows to walk a wonderful balcony open on the valley and the Mont-Blanc massif.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With its 400 km of trails and 28 tracks freeride and single track, less trained calf cyclists will also find in Samo\u00ebns something to enjoy. The village has also obtained the national label “Accueil v\u00e9lo” which guarantees a welcome and quality services along cycle roads.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

All you need to do is rent a bike or an ATV from the many shops in the city and start, why not, on the road that will lead you to the circus of Fer-\u00e0-Cheval, to admire the gorge of Tines and continue until at the Rouget waterfall. Do you want a family ride without difficulty? Embark your tribe along the banks of the Giffre, towards the Blue Lake in Morillon. Do you want speed and sensations? The most sporty will try downhill mountain biking or the Enduro, some paths are accessible from the lifts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

And if your thing is the fat bike, be aware that this atypical bike with wide wheels – made to adhere to the snow – get on also in summer on the trails of the valley. The snow has melted and it is not necessary to wait for the winter to print its mark on the roads of Samo\u00ebns.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
