How to reach the tourist office?
The equestrian centre at the Samoëns American Festival will put you in the Far West mood with horse shows, a Barrel Racing competition and pony rides.
On the Place du Marché, you'll find the equestrian centre with a Far-West village where you can enjoy a range of activities:
with the MECHANICAL RODEO where you can try to stay on the bull the longest:
- Price: €1 per ticket or €10 for 12 tickets
- Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 6pm
and PONEY RIDES offered by Equita Passion:
- Price: €5 per ride
- Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 6pm
The HORSE SHOWS are a must at the Samoëns American Festival.
- The Impulsion company will delight you from Friday evening with a pyrotechnic show combining fireworks and technical prowess.
- On Saturday and Sunday, watch the Chuck Wagon attack, typical of the era of the conquest of the American West. This show will impress you with its colourful stunts and special effects, all with a touch of humour.
Last but not least, discover the BARREL RACING, a speed test on horseback around barrels. This equestrian competition, organised by the Comité Régional d'Equitation Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, is typical of the American Western.
For 4 days, Samoëns will be living in American time, with country dancing (workshops and a ball), concerts, shows, a market, a far-west village, civilian and military vehicle gatherings and a sports centre.
