Mindful Skiing with ZigZag and Alps Retreats

Mindfulness meditation is a new method that will allow you to develop your presence, reduce your stress or improve your general well-being. If not, maybe it piques your curiosity !

Mainly it is about fixing your attention on the present moment and making the connection with your thoughts, your emotions, the sensations of your body and your environment. Let go of thoughts related to the present and the future and let your body relax. Learning to refocus on your body and mind in tune with the present moment can work wonders on the way you ski or surf!

ZigZag and Pleine Conscience Coach Sally-Anne Airey have joined forces to create a first mindful skiing event.

This day is designed to offer you a gateway to the practice of skiing or snowboarding in full awareness. You will ski fully aware of the present moment and your surroundings in the same fluid movement. You will leave behind in a cloud of snow the exterior thoughts and worries to fully enjoy each turn and appreciate every moment spent on the skis.

Participants must be equipped with a Grand Massif ski pass (not included).
Advance reservation is required as places are limited.
The teachers will meet you at the meeting point for the ZigZag lessons in Samoëns 1600m from 9.15am to start the day.
