CANCIONES ARGENTINAS
In this sunny concert, soprano Mariana Flores pays tribute to the women of Latin America, and depicts in music their loves, their pains, their joys with popular songs from Argentina, the Cujo wine region and elsewhere... Accompanied by Quito Gato on piano and guitar, who made the arrangements, and Romain Lecuyer on double bass, this recital is for the two friends of Argentinian origin an opportunity to introduce the public to some of the most beautiful popular songs from their country of origin dating back to the 20th century, such as “Dorotea la cautiva” and “Alfonsina y el mar”.
