Samoëns, a conservation villahe in the heart of the Haute Savoie

Situated in the Haute Savoie, at the threshold of a wide glacial valley through which flows the Giffre, Samoëns spreads along the valley bottom, while its nine hamlets nestle on the wooded sides. Each one has a chapel crowned with an onion dome.

Samoëns, which originated in the Middle Ages, has managed to evolve while preserving its qualities of an ancient town with solid stone buildings, the work of the town's celebrated brotherhood of stonemasons.

Summer in Samoëns is a holiday among the ancient buildings with their flower covered balconies, or among the renovated  wooden farms of the surrounding hamlets. It offers a multitude of activities on land, water, or in the air, in the spectacular surroundings that the septimontains (the people of Samoëns) invite you to share with them.
