Mont Via Ferrata

The Mont Via Ferrata overlooks the Tines Gorge. Its route takes you along the south face, with a variety of crossings, ranging from high-slung footbridges to ladders. It provides a fine panoramic view of the Pointe de Sales and the village of Sixt. • Via Ferrata equipment essential. Equipment can be hired in Samoëns. It is advisable to ask a professional to go with you.
• Take the D 907 road to the Tines Gorges car park. The path starts out opposite the car park and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the start of the climb.
