Speed Riding: A new board sport in the land of heritage buildings
Launched in the French Alps in 2002, speed riding is an incredible, awesome, really cool cocktail, with a measure of off-piste skiing and a twist of parachuting, all mixed with a large dose of fresh air. It's a sport that includes swooping, leapfrogging and gliding above fields of snow.
REMINDER OF SAFETY RULES
Speed Riding is prohibited on the marked pistes, as is flying over ski lifts. Any persons infringing on the ban are liable to forfeit their ski passes and risk criminal proceedings in the event of an accident.
