ACCESS TO THE SKI SLOPES
The Grand Massif ski slopes are accessible from the town centre in 8 minutes via the "Grand Massif Express" gondola lift, which was opened in December 2003, from the Vercland hamlet, located 3 km from the town, via the "TC-4" gondola lift, or via the D254 main road (a 15-minute drive from the town centre).
Free shuttle buses run between most of the accommodation in Samoëns and the ski lifts.
There are big car parks for visitors at each departure point for the ski slopes.
Attention : the "Grand Massif Express" car park is not accessible for vehicles over 2.40 m in height. Take care if your skis are stored vertically on your vehicle.
Camper vans can park at the Samoëns camp site or at the car park for the "TC-4" gondola lift at Vercland hamlet (Flot Bleu service point).

This 60-place car park is located in Samoens at the bottom of the La Char slope. Ideal for visitors who already have their ski pass, since this car park avoids the queues for the Grand Massif Express or the Vercland TC4 in the high season.

The car park is next to the Grand Massif Express 8-seater ski lift (only open in the winter), which serves the Grand Massif ski slopes. You can also reach the cross-country skiing tracks in the valley that pass nearby the Grand Massif Express terminus (buy your ski pass first).
