Guided tours of the history and architectural heritage of the village of Samoëns. Discover the history of Samoëns and its famous migrant craftsmen with the guides of the Société des Maçons, an association that upholds the tradition of stoneworking in the Upper Giffre Valley. Starting form the square with its ornamental fountain and la Grenette, the former château and stables, the deep roots of the great lime tree, the guides will help you see beyond the stones to the life of the old village huddled round the church, and to its modern development as a holiday destination in summer and winter. Tips and promotions

• If requested for school parties, the tour can take the form of a discovery/exploration game or be adapted to suit each class as long as you contact Violaine a long time in advance.
